San Diego, CA

A two-story restaurant with roof deck, this building redefines the local neighborhood with it’s style and simplicity. High volume spaces presented to the street with large windows and modern lines fill up this underutilized corner location. An ode to old Hollywood sophistication with antique brick and large black and white graphics complete the look of this project.

design process

This project is designed for a corner lot in a prominent San Diego neighborhood.  We utilized the north facing facade to incorporate a a series of large glass openings and kept the services along the south edge of the site.  In order to achieve the necessary vertical access, we chose to enclose the circulation and create a beacon for the project along the main street.
